BrainDash ("we", "us", "our") operates the BrainDash app and braindash.co. BrainDash is a free trivia and brain-games app with no payments or purchases of any kind. This policy explains the limited information we handle and how we protect it. By using BrainDash, you agree to this policy.

1. Information We Collect

• No account required: You can play everything without signing in. We do not require an email, name, or date of birth to play.
• Optional display name: If you choose to appear on leaderboards, you may enter a display name. You can change or remove it anytime.
• Approximate location (optional): If you opt in, we use your approximate city/area to show local "Smartest in your town" leaderboards. You can decline and still play everything. We do not store precise GPS coordinates.
• Gameplay data: Scores, progress, and game settings — stored primarily on your device.
• Basic technical data: Standard, non-identifying app/usage diagnostics to keep the app working.

2. What We Do Not Collect

BrainDash has no purchases, so we collect no payment or financial information. We do not collect identity documents or biometric data. There are no ads, so we do not use advertising identifiers or ad-tracking, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

3. How We Use Information

• To run the games and save your progress
• To show optional local and global leaderboards (only if you choose a display name / opt into location)
• To keep the app stable and improve it

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of service providers (e.g., our backend/database host) solely to operate the app, under their own privacy and security commitments.

5. Children

BrainDash is rated 4+ and family-friendly. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and there is no behavioral advertising in the app.

6. Your Choices & Data Deletion

Most of your data lives on your device — clearing the app's storage or uninstalling removes it. If you created an optional display name and want any associated data removed, contact us at support@braindash.co.
