BrainDash is a skill-based trivia competition, not gambling. Winners are determined by trivia knowledge and response speed — not chance or random number generation. Game outcomes are predominantly determined by the relative skill of participants. Scores are calculated server-side based on correct answers and response time. No element of chance determines whether a player wins or loses.
Risk Disclosure: You may lose your entry fee if another player outperforms you. Only play with money you can afford to lose.
All deposits are final once credited to your wallet. Refunds are issued only in the event of: (a) a confirmed technical failure that prevented match completion, or (b) a verified duplicate charge. To request a refund, contact support@braindash.co within 7 days of the transaction. Chargebacks initiated outside of this process may result in account suspension.
BrainDash retains 15% of each match pot as a platform fee (rake), deducted before payouts. The rake is disclosed on each match card before you join. Tournament rake is disclosed at time of registration. Example: in a 2-player $10 match, the pot is $20, rake is $3.00, and the winner receives $17.00.
The use of bots, scripts, external assistance tools, AI assistance, collusion, multi-accounting, or any method to gain an unfair advantage is strictly prohibited and will result in permanent account termination and forfeiture of all funds. BrainDash reserves the right to void any match outcome where integrity violations are suspected.
To comply with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, we are required to verify your identity before processing withdrawals over $50 or deposits over $500. We collect and verify your government-issued ID and selfie through our KYC provider. Transactions of $600 or more in net winnings in a calendar year will be reported to the IRS and you will receive a 1099 form. You are responsible for reporting all winnings as income.
Net winnings of $600 or more per calendar year are subject to IRS 1099 reporting. BrainDash will issue a Form 1099-MISC to all qualifying users and report to the IRS. You are solely responsible for paying all applicable taxes on your winnings. BrainDash does not provide tax advice.
BrainDash is committed to responsible gaming. You may set deposit limits, wager limits, and self-exclude at any time in Responsible Gaming settings.
Self-exclusion requests are enforced immediately server-side and cannot be reversed for the duration of the exclusion period. Permanent self-exclusion is irrevocable.
BrainDash may suspend or terminate your account for: (a) violation of these terms, (b) suspected fraud or cheating, (c) chargebacks or payment disputes, (d) providing false identity information, (e) being located in a restricted jurisdiction, or (f) suspicious wagering patterns. Upon termination for cause, funds may be forfeited pending investigation.
All disputes must first be submitted to support@braindash.co. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes are subject to binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Delaware. You waive your right to a jury trial and class action participation.
BrainDash LLC's total liability to you shall not exceed the greater of: (a) your current wallet balance, or (b) $100. We are not responsible for losses due to technical failures, internet outages, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these terms at any time with 14 days' notice via email. Continued use of BrainDash after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
